A huge thank you to everyone to came to compete and help the Woodbridge Summer Autosolo on Sunday. We had 34 competitors battling it out, 3 classes in the Autosolo, as well as an Autotest and Production Car Autosolo (PCA). Even after 20 runs, the classes were often decided by less than one second!
Congratulations to Jonathan Stimpson for taking overall win in the Autosolo, although close behind was the Class B winner Kevin Lockwod. The Class A1 win was taken by Laura Christmas in the Corsa, but 0.8s from 2nd place Duncan. Robin Lines was leading at the lunch break, but ultimately had to settle for 3rd in the Mini. With Jono taking the Overall Win, 1st in Class A2 was Barnaby Jones in the 205, pipping Sam Carter in the Saxo into 2nd place.
In the Autosolo, it was Steven Groom who took top honours from John Peterson, both in Mini’s.
The PCA another very closely fought class, but Ashley Hudson just beat Vini Cruz to the top spot, both driving MR2’s.
Different to before we used a dropped score system this time, where the worst time at each test, from across the 5 runs, was dropped. Full test time details can be seen in the results file in the link below.
