We’re excited to announce that we’ll be holding an evening with Helen Tait Wright, Suffolk-born driver of the Gazelles Offroad team and part of the first all‑female British crew to complete the legendary Dakar Rally.
Helen will be sharing her remarkable journey to the Dakar, along with stories from the 2026 Dakar Classic – an extraordinary 7,348 km adventure across Saudi Arabia in her Land Rover, affectionately known as Purdey, tackling one of the toughest endurance challenges on the planet.
The event is on Tuesday 10 March, 7.30pm at Martlesham Community Centre.
Tickets are £5 for ECMC members, and £7.50 for non-members.
